St. Paddys Mite Jamboree

Pelham 8U will be hosting our Mite Jamboree in March please see below for details.

DATE: March 9th, 2025

TIME: 2:30-5:30pm

WHERE: Ice Hutch, Mt. Vernon, NY

FORMAT: Cross Ice, 20 Min Games, 2 min line change, 3 Game guarantee, potential championship at each level.

COST: $475 per Team

WHO: 

• 3 divisions - 8U A1/B, C, D Teams
• 4 Teams per division, 12 total.
• NO A or AA teams, this is cross ice, 1st, 2nd, and low 3rd year players
• Level Guide:
• A1/B teams, 2016 and below, 2nd and 3rd year players not on the top team of their organization.
• C teams, 2016 and below, mix of first and 2nd year players
• D teams should be 6U, maybe a few 2018, all first year

GIFT: All players will receive a jamboree hat, we may have medals or a team trophy for the winners, depending on funds. 

RULES: 

• Games will start at 2:30pm and will go 20 minutes each. There will be 5 minutes in-between games.
• Jersey colors will be assigned, we will try to keep it so teams dont need to change. 
• The event ends at 5:30PM no extensions 
• Games are all cross-ice and will be 3v3 for the B division and 4v4 for the C and D divisions. 
• Horn buzzer every two minutes will be used for line changes. 
• Intermediate size nets, goalies, and black/blue pucks (B black, C/D blue). 
• Referees will keep coaches apprised of the score throughout the game and will be the final authority on recording scores. We may also have scorekeepers TBD
• Two points for a win, one point for a tie, top two teams in each division based on points (any ties will first go to head-to-head match-up and then a coin flip if that was a tie) 
• 1st and 2nd will play in a "championship" game. 
• If championship game ends in a tie, there will be a 3v3 shootout, continuing 1v1, until someone wins. 

IMPORTANT:

• Casual event, meant to be fun and a nice end to the season, we like to keep this a close invite only group of our favorite opponents and close friends, fun clean competition.
