Pelham Youth Hockey
Pelham Youth Hockey is volunteer run youth hockey organization serving the lower Westchester County area. While many of the members are from Pelham, we have members from all over the local area skating with our teams.
Our program starts with our Learn To Play program, starting with skaters as young as 5 years old, and has teams at all age levels through the 18U level.

If you are unable to make your allocated tryout time do to injury, illness or pre-existing travel arrangements, please both register via the above link and separately submit your player details to info@pelhamhockey.com to receive instructions for a make-up tryout skate.
ABOUT PELHAM HOCKEY
Ages
Mites 8U: Ages 5 thru 8
Squirts 10U: Ages 9 and 10
Pee Wees 12U: Ages 11 and 12
Bantams 14U: Ages 13 and 14
Midget 16U: Ages 16 and 16
High School: Ages 15 thru 18
When
The PYH Hockey Season begins in the end of August and runs through March with a break during the holiday season.
Dates and times are subject to team manager discretion as some teams may choose to play additional games and tournaments.
Where
All practices, home games and tryouts are held at our home rink, The Ice Hutch, located in Mt. Vernon, NY.
Tournaments
Each year teams may choose to participate in tournaments. These are usually travel destinations that take place during multiple games that span a weekend. Teams usually allot for 1 to 3 tournaments per season.
Practices
Practices are typically and hour long and twice a week, with some exceptions. Each team will have one practice focusing on team skills and hockey strategy.
With an additonal practice run by Erik Nates Euro Hockey, focusing on skills, skating and other necessary hockey abilities
Jerseys & Apparel
The Pelham Youth Hockey uniform store will open twice a year. Once in April for preseason orders, guaranteeing players their orders for the start of the season.
Additionally, the store opens for delivery around the holidays for additional uniform purchases, apparel and gifts.
Games
Teams play games on the weekends, occasionally weekday nights for special occasions.
Mites (8U) play half or cross ice, and Squirt (10U) an above play full ice games.
All games follow USA Hockey Rules and Regulations.

Pelham Youth Hockey competes in the following leagues
- Hudson Valley Hockey League (HVHL)
- Long Island Amateur Hockey League (LIAHL)
- Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League (EJEPL)
- Chelsea Piers Mite Cross/Half Ice League
- Greenwich Wings Arena Mite Cross/Half Ice League
